Scope
In recent years, the rapid development and popularization of digital media have had a tremendous impact on people's work and life. Whether it is computer and internet, or mobile communication devices ushering in the 5G network era, have become an indispensable integrated platform for people's lives. The essence of digital media platform is interaction. It has the characteristics that traditional media do not possess, such as quantification of communication content, diversification of communicators, interaction of communication channels, personalization of communicators and so on. Therefore, the digital media platform has the possibility for the development of new art form (virtual narrative). At the same time, the user experience design method and process will change accordingly. This workshop, collocated with the Fourth IEEE International Conference on Data Science in Cyberspace (IEEE DSC2019), will bring together large data producers and users, theoretical researchers and practitioners on the network digital media platform to promote their exchanges. Participants will learn about the latest advances in virtual narrative and user experience design in the field of data and how these innovations affect decision-making and practice in real-world applications.
