Data Analysis and Security in Smart City

A smart city uses information and communication technologies to enhance quality, performance and interactivity of urban services, to reduce costs and resource consumption and to improve contact between citizens and government. The major sectors developing smart city technology include government services, traffic management, energy, health care, etc. Convenience, efficiency and security are the major concerns and challenges for smart city applications, which highlights the growing importance of data analysis and security technologies. This workshop will focus on data analysis and security solutions for all aspects of smart city such as privacy protection, cyber security management, smart transportation, digital medical technology, etc. It is to bring together computer scientists, industrial engineers, and researchers to discuss and exchange experimental and theoretical results, novel designs, work-in-progress, experience, case studies and trend-setting ideas in the areas of smart city and embedded computing. Papers describing advanced prototypes, systems, tools and techniques are encouraged.

Topics of interest include but not limited to:

1. Analysis of the Big Data and data mining in smart city
2. Privacy and anonymity in smart city
3. Internet content analysis
4. Threat intelligence analysis
5. Risk analysis, mitigation and management in smart city
6. Big Data for Urban Informatics
7. Cryptography, authentication, authorization and usage control for smart city
8. Social network trust and privacy protection
9. Big data for intelligent traffic management
10. Digital medicine
